New JTBC Romance Makes Its Debut

JTBC’s new weekend drama Still Shining has officially joined the competitive television ratings race. The romantic series stars Park Jinyoung of GOT7 and Kim Min Ju, former member of IZ*ONE, and has already drawn attention with its premiere broadcast.

On March 6, Still Shining aired its first two episodes back-to-back. According to data released by Nielsen Korea, the drama recorded average nationwide ratings of 2.1 percent for its first episode and 1.7 percent for its second episode. As the newest entry in the weekend lineup, Still Shining now steps into a crowded field of dramas competing for viewers’ attention.

For both Park Jinyoung and Kim Min Ju, Still Shining represents an important project that places them at the center of a romantic narrative. Their on-screen pairing has become one of the early talking points surrounding the drama’s launch.

In Your Radiant Season Continues to Gain Momentum

While Still Shining made its debut, another weekend drama saw its ratings rise. MBC’s In Your Radiant Season experienced a noticeable increase with its latest broadcast.

The fifth episode of In Your Radiant Season recorded an average nationwide rating of 4.1 percent, reflecting a steady climb compared to earlier episodes. The growth suggests that the drama may be gradually building momentum among viewers as its story continues to develop.

As the weekend drama competition intensifies, both Still Shining and In Your Radiant Season will continue to compete for audience attention in the coming weeks.
