The crime investigation drama The Truth is set to premiere on February 3, 2026. Starring Gong Jun, Jiang Wu, and Sun Yi, alongside a strong supporting cast including Wang Xun, Jia Bing, Li Jianyi, and others, the series centers on a forensic investigation unit and presents crime-solving through a grounded, professional lens.

The story is set within the Criminal Technology Division of the Yunxi City Public Security Bureau, a department responsible for handling the city’s most complex and unusual cases. Led by division chief Chen Guoxian, the investigative team is composed of experienced professionals and younger officers still finding their footing. Each member brings a distinct expertise, from forensic analysis and behavioral profiling to field investigation and technical reconstruction.

United by the principle of “decoding the language of death and safeguarding the dignity of life,” the team works through meticulous evidence collection and analytical reasoning to uncover the truth behind a series of perplexing crimes. As the investigations progress, cases often reveal deeper layers, with hidden connections and overlapping motives gradually coming to light.
Rather than focusing solely on suspense, The Truth emphasizes the human dimension of criminal investigation. The series explores how law enforcement officers navigate moral dilemmas, professional pressure, and personal vulnerability while remaining committed to justice. Through its case-driven narrative, the drama reflects on responsibility, empathy, and the cost of uncovering truth.

The series will release four episodes for members at 6:00 PM on February 3, followed by two episodes daily, with the finale expected on February 16. Scheduling for non-members has yet to be announced.
