The historical mystery drama Unveil: Jadewind is set to premiere on February 5, 2026. Starring Bai Lu and Wang Xingyue, the series brings together a strong ensemble cast including Yao Anna, Zhang Weina, Hou Changrong, He Zhonghua, Zhao Ziqi, Zhao Qing, Zhao Yiqin, Dai Luwa, Li Xinzhe, and Lu Xingyu.
Set against the backdrop of the Tang dynasty palace, the story begins during the Lantern Festival, when Princess Ningyuan is found dead under mysterious circumstances at a royal night banquet. Li Peiyi (played by Bai Lu), the Lady of Fuchang County, and Xiao Huaijin (played by Wang Xingyue), an Assistant Director of the Bureau of Astronomy, are ordered to investigate the case.
Li Peiyi is known for her exceptional combat skills and sharp insight into human nature. Though outwardly cold, she is driven by a strong sense of justice and an unwavering determination to uncover the truth. Xiao Huaijin, on the other hand, possesses a meticulous mind and extraordinary memory. As the two work together, their complementary abilities allow them to piece together fragmented clues and navigate a web of deception involving arrogant aristocrats and guards hiding dangerous secrets.
Following the initial case, the duo goes on to solve a series of increasingly complex and eerie crimes within the inner court of the Tang palace. Each investigation exposes hidden histories and the fates of women entangled in palace politics. Through these cases, Li Peiyi and Xiao Huaijin not only witness the splendor and darkness of the era but also gradually uncover the truth behind the massacre of the Li family fifteen years earlier.
As the conspiracy behind the scenes comes to light, Li Peiyi clears her father’s name and finds companionship, trust, and emotional healing through shared trials. The series blends suspense, palace intrigue, and character-driven storytelling, presenting a layered exploration of power, loyalty, and redemption.

Unveil: Jadewind will air on CCTV-8 starting February 5 at 9:30 p.m., with two episodes broadcast nightly. The finale is expected to air on February 21.
Streaming platform members will receive an initial release of three episodes on February 5 at 9:30 p.m., followed by two new episodes each evening. The final episodes are also scheduled for February 21.
