Ha Young has been confirmed to star in the upcoming SBS legal drama “There’s a Winning Chance” (literal title), joining Lee Je Hoon in a lighthearted and comedic legal detective series. The drama follows an unconventional law office that takes on seemingly unwinnable cases and turns them into victories in unexpected ways.

Lee Je Hoon will play Kwon Baek, a former star attorney who lost his law license after becoming entangled in a bribery scandal. After disappearing from the public eye, he makes a dramatic return as the office manager of Seungsan Law Office, a struggling firm he builds by bringing together a group of mismatched individuals. Having experienced both great success and crushing failure, Kwon Baek reemerges with a more relaxed and eccentric demeanor, using clever schemes and bold strategies to uncover the truth behind complex cases.

Ha Young will portray Yeo Shim Hee, a rookie attorney without wealth or powerful connections, but driven by determination and hard work. Unaware that her long-time role model Kwon Baek had once fallen from grace, she accepts his offer and becomes the lead attorney at Seungsan Law Office. Initially disappointed by the changed image of the man she admired, she gradually comes to realize that the seemingly carefree office manager is always thinking several steps ahead. Under his mentorship, Yeo Shim Hee grows into a capable and confident lawyer.

The drama is expected to highlight the evolving relationship between the two characters, moving from a mentor-mentee dynamic to a strong partnership built on trust and mutual support. Their chemistry and layered performances are highly anticipated.

“There’s a Winning Chance” is scheduled to premiere in 2027.
