The drama Ginga no Ichipyo has announced its main cast, starring Kuroki Haru as the lead and Noro Kayo in a key role. The series is set to air from April every Monday at 10:00 PM on Kansai TV and Fuji TV.

The story follows the daughter of a ruling party secretary-general, who is sidelined in politics, and a female bar worker newly entering the political arena, as they join forces to run for the Governor of Tokyo. One day, Hoshino Matsuri (Kuroki), serving as her father’s secretary, receives an anonymous letter exposing wrongdoing, prompting her to secretly investigate her father’s past and uncover certain truths. Her investigation is discovered by her father, leading to her immediate dismissal and the loss of everything. Later, Matsuri meets Tsukioka Akari (Noro), who runs a small bar. When the current Governor of Tokyo resigns due to a scandal, Matsuri uses her experience as an “election strategist” to help Akari campaign for governor.
