The romance drama In Your Radiant Season continues to develop its warm and emotional storyline as new stills preview a gentle turning point in the relationship between its two main characters. Starring Lee Sung Kyung and Chae Jong Hyeop, the series follows the gradual healing and emotional growth of two people whose lives seem to exist in completely different seasons.

In In Your Radiant Season, Chae Jong Hyeop plays Sunwoo Chan, a man who lives each day with the carefree energy of a summer holiday. In contrast, Lee Sung Kyung portrays Song Ha Ran, a woman who has withdrawn emotionally after experiencing painful loss, living as if trapped in a long and cold winter. Their meeting sets the stage for a story about recovery, trust, and the courage to open one’s heart again.

In the previous episode of In Your Radiant Season, Sunwoo Chan finally confessed his feelings to Song Ha Ran. After Ha Ran lost her boyfriend Kang Hyuk Chan, she shut herself off from the world, avoiding connections with others. Recognizing her loneliness and pain, Sunwoo Chan proposed a unique arrangement: the two would try being “neighborhood friends” during a three-month project, treating it as a kind of trial period. Ha Ran accepted his sincerity, marking the beginning of a new dynamic between them.

However, their developing relationship is not without complications. Sunwoo Chan begins to experience confusing flashes of memory after reconnecting with Ha Ran. Old emotional triggers stir fragments of his past that he has long tried to hide, leaving him unsettled. At the same time, Song Ha Ran grows increasingly curious about the secrets Sunwoo Chan seems determined to keep hidden.

The newly released stills from In Your Radiant Season reveal the pair traveling to Gyeongju together for work. During the trip, Song Ha Ran and Sunwoo Chan share moments that resemble a quiet date rather than a business visit. They are seen taking photos beneath a golden ginkgo tree and standing together in front of a traditional hanok house, scenes that highlight the natural chemistry between Lee Sung Kyung and Chae Jong Hyeop.

What draws attention most is the way the two characters look at each other. Song Ha Ran’s expressions reveal growing curiosity and warmth toward Sunwoo Chan, while Sunwoo Chan shows a caring and protective side as he watches over her. After his earlier confession, a subtle but undeniable emotional tension begins to form between them, hinting that their relationship may soon evolve beyond simple friendship.

Another scene shows the Gyeongju visit involving staff from Can Studio, who have come to Korea for an animation collaboration with designers from Nana Atelier. Set against a scenic seaside background, the group atmosphere appears lively and relaxed, almost like students enjoying a school excursion. Within this cheerful environment, Song Ha Ran—who once avoided social situations—can be seen smiling among her colleagues, suggesting that she is gradually rediscovering a sense of normal daily life.

Later in the story, Song Ha Ran returns to Seoul ahead of Sunwoo Chan in order to spend some time alone. Before she leaves, Sunwoo Chan tells her that he has left her with a special assignment to complete in the city. This small yet meaningful gesture raises curiosity about how the experience in Gyeongju might influence their evolving relationship in the upcoming episodes of In Your Radiant Season.

As the narrative continues, In Your Radiant Season seems set to explore not only romance but also the slow process of emotional healing. With Lee Sung Kyung and Chae Jong Hyeop leading the story, the drama’s delicate balance between warmth and mystery is becoming one of its defining strengths.

The next episode of In Your Radiant Season will air on March 6 at 9:40 p.m. KST.
