Lee Junho is reportedly in discussions to join the upcoming drama Buy King, potentially starring alongside Ju Ji Hoon in a story centered on power, betrayal, and corporate succession.
According to reports on March 23, Lee Junho has received an offer for the series, with his agency confirming that he is currently reviewing the role positively. The drama is set within a Korean chaebol family and explores internal fractures as members battle for control over a conglomerate empire worth billions.

If confirmed, Lee Junho will portray Han Ji Yeol, a third-generation heir known for his sharp analytical mind and cold, strategic approach to business. His character is expected to clash directly with Han Tae Joon, his uncle and the central antagonist.
The role of Han Tae Joon has previously been offered to Ju Ji Hoon, who is also said to be considering the project. The character is described as ruthless and entirely driven by ambition, setting the stage for a tense and psychologically charged rivalry between the two leads.
The pairing of Lee Junho and Ju Ji Hoon has already generated anticipation, given their contrasting screen personas—one known for controlled intensity, the other for charismatic authority. If both actors confirm, Buy King could become a notable entry in the genre of corporate and power-driven Korean dramas.
Lee Junho has built a strong track record through projects such as The Red Sleeve, King the Land, Typhoon Family, and Cashero, showcasing versatility across genres. He is also preparing to appear in the upcoming film Veteran 3, further solidifying his steady career momentum.
At this stage, both actors remain in the negotiation phase, but the project is already drawing attention as a potential high-profile drama in development.
