Wavve’s upcoming original series Reverse has unveiled a new set of character posters, offering a first glimpse into the psychological tension at the heart of the mystery revenge thriller.
The drama follows Ham Myo Jin, played by Seo Ji Hye, who becomes entangled in a mysterious explosion at a chaebol family’s villa. After the incident, she loses her memory and begins a dangerous journey to recover it, uncovering hidden truths about her fiancé Ryu Jun Ho, portrayed by Go Soo, and the circumstances surrounding the accident.

The posters rely heavily on close-up expressions and intense gazes to establish the tone of the story. Seo Ji Hye’s character appears visibly shaken, her pale face and disheveled appearance reflecting confusion and fear. Accompanied by the phrases “Ham Myo Jin, who wants to correct her memory” and “Did I kill someone?”, the image suggests a narrative driven by uncertainty and self-doubt as her character becomes entangled in a possible murder case.
In contrast, Go Soo’s Ryu Jun Ho presents a composed and controlled exterior. As the future chairman of a powerful family, his polished appearance conveys authority, yet his cold and emotionless expression hints at concealed intentions. The accompanying line, “I’ll pretend not to know anything else and only fill in your memory about me,” points to a character willing to manipulate reality in order to maintain his relationship, raising questions about trust and control.
Kim Jae Kyung’s Choi Hee Soo adds another layer of intrigue. Styled in glamorous fashion, she appears outwardly confident, yet her frozen gaze suggests underlying tension. Her poster introduces her as “Choi Hee Soo hidden by memory,” alongside the line, “Everyone has at least one secret they cannot tell anyone,” positioning her as a key figure whose concealed past may influence the unfolding events.
Together, the three posters emphasize themes of memory, perception, and hidden truth, setting up a narrative in which each character appears to have their own version of reality. The interplay between what is remembered, altered, or concealed is expected to drive the suspense of the series.
Reverse is scheduled to premiere on April 17, promising a story that blends psychological tension with layered character dynamics.
