Tiffany Young recently gave fans a glimpse into her newlywed life with actor Byun Yo Han, revealing that the couple has quietly settled into a surprisingly cozy routine centered around late-night snacks, webtoon marathons, and musical rehearsals.

On May 15, Tiffany appeared as a guest on KBS Cool FM’s Paul Kim’s Gayo Plaza, where she spoke candidly about her current daily life, her marriage, and her preparation process for the upcoming musical adaptation of Yumi’s Cells.

During the broadcast, she revealed that she and Byun Yo Han have developed a nightly habit of eating snacks together almost every evening.

The actress and singer explained that as she became increasingly immersed in the role of Yumi, her real-life habits also began changing naturally without her even noticing.

“There are around 500 episodes in the original webtoon, and I’ve already read past episode 300,” she shared. “Without realizing it, I started wearing striped clothes every day and ordering tteokbokki, churros, and strawberry cream-filled fish-shaped buns every night.”

She laughed while adding that her synchronization with the character now feels stronger and stronger.

What particularly caught listeners’ attention, however, was just how detailed her preparation process has become.

According to Tiffany Young, she has been carefully studying even the smallest visual expressions from the original webtoon, especially Yumi’s eye movements and emotional reactions.

She explained that webtoon creator Lee Dong Gun designed the character’s gaze very precisely, with subtle changes in eye direction and pupil placement depending on the character’s emotional state.

“I’ve been trying to imitate Yumi’s eye movements,” Tiffany said. “I think the position of the eyes can even help me find the right vocal tone and emotional texture while singing.”

The comment offered another glimpse into Tiffany’s increasingly serious approach toward acting and musical theater in recent years.

Although she initially debuted as an idol through Girls’ Generation, her career over the past several years has steadily shifted toward acting, theater, and performance-based storytelling. Compared to her earlier entertainment image, she now often speaks about characters and productions with a noticeably analytical and immersive mindset.

She admitted during the radio appearance that she tends to become deeply absorbed in every role she takes on.

“I’m the kind of person who dives deeply into every detail,” she explained. “I really want to become the best Yumi possible.”

Meanwhile, her marriage to Byun Yo Han continues attracting quiet attention from fans due to the unexpectedly warm and low-key dynamic between the two stars.

The couple reportedly became close after appearing together in the Disney+ series Uncle Samsik, which premiered in May 2024. Following months of dating rumors, they later confirmed they were in a serious relationship and eventually announced their marriage registration earlier this year in February.

Since then, neither has pursued highly publicized couple marketing or heavily exposed their private life online. Instead, their relationship has remained relatively calm and understated compared to many celebrity couples.

That is partly why Tiffany’s casual mention of sharing nightly snacks together felt especially charming to fans.

Rather than glamorous celebrity anecdotes, the image she described felt unexpectedly ordinary — two people staying up late, eating comfort food, and quietly supporting each other’s routines while balancing busy careers.

And in many ways, that atmosphere also mirrors Tiffany’s current public image.

Compared to the bright idol persona she carried during her earlier years, she now projects something softer and more grounded: someone increasingly focused on craft, emotional detail, and building a stable personal life away from constant spotlight-driven chaos.

As for Yumi’s Cells, anticipation remains high for Tiffany’s interpretation of the beloved character, especially given how intensely she appears to be immersing herself in the role already.
