Set in Sapporo, the story follows Yamakawa Nikka (played by Gouriki), an office worker in the sales department of Kamui Foods. She faces unreasonable orders and power harassment from her superior, but constantly tells herself “I’m fine” as she forces her way through each exhausting day. One day, Nikka is transferred to a children’s cafeteria called Rookery. There, she begins interacting with upper-grade elementary school students who frequently visit the cafeteria. Their honest and straightforward nature gradually helps her reconnect with herself and rediscover her own voice.

“Glass no Yubiwa to Bansoko” will air in Hokkaido over four consecutive Saturdays from January 17 to February 7, 2026, during the 10:40–11:10 time slot. With its gentle pacing and heartfelt storytelling, the special drama promises a touching and quietly uplifting viewing experience.
