The upcoming legal drama “Themis no Futashi kana Hotei”, led by actor Matsuyama Kenichi, has announced its supporting cast. The series will feature Narumi Yui, Tsunematsu Yuri, Yamazaki Shigenori, Ichikawa Mikako, Wakui Emi, and Endo Kenichi in key roles, adding depth to the ensemble.

Adapted from the novel by Naoshima Sho, the drama follows Ando Kiyoharu (played by Matsuyama), a highly skilled judge living with ASD/ADHD traits. With seven years of prior experience as a police officer, Ando navigates cases entwined with complex relationships and conflicting motives. While confronting the intricacies of each case, he also grapples with the impulses and dilemmas that arise during courtroom proceedings.
The series incorporates humor to portray the clashes and misunderstandings that unfold both in and outside the courtroom. Through these interactions, the story explores themes of normalcy, fairness, and the act of judgment from fresh and thought-provoking perspectives.
*Themis no Futashi kana Hotei* consists of eight episodes and is scheduled to air every Tuesday at 22:00, beginning January 6, 2026, on NHK.
