The historical fantasy drama 《成何体统》- “How Dare You?” has officially confirmed its premiere date, set to begin airing on February 6, 2026. The series stars Wang Churan and Cheng Lei in leading roles, alongside Tang Xiaotian, Hu Yixuan, Ma Su, Cui Yi, Fan Shaohuang, You Jingru, Zhang Ruihan, Sui Yongliang, and Zhang Haoran.
The drama follows Wang Cuihua, a rookie office worker who is unexpectedly transported into the world of a transmigration novel. There, she meets Zhang San, another individual who has crossed into the story. While Wang Cuihua struggles to resist a predetermined fate, Zhang San is a powerful monarch who has spent ten years concealing his true ambitions. With their survival at stake, the two characters—both aware of the script they are living in—join forces to alter the course of events.
As their plans unfold, they discover that the female second lead, Xie Yong’er, is also a transmigrator from an even lower narrative layer. Together, they prepare for an impending drought, introduce drought-resistant crops, recruit capable allies, stabilize the border regions, and eventually defeat Prince Duan. Just as victory appears within reach, Zhang San, also known as Xiahou Dan, suffers a severe relapse of a long-standing head illness.
At this critical moment, Yu Wanyin learns of an earlier prophecy stating that only one of them can survive. Realizing that Xiahou Dan once missed his chance to save himself, she makes the same choice he once did and decides to let him live. Later, an assassination attempt by poison-wielding agents from the Qiang state unexpectedly leads to Xiahou Dan’s recovery through an unorthodox cure. In the end, both Yu Wanyin and Xiahou Dan survive to witness the prosperous era they worked so hard to achieve.
Regarding its broadcast schedule, the drama will release its first six episodes for subscribers on February 6 at 12 p.m., followed by regular updates in the evenings, with some adjustments and brief breaks between February 16 and 21. The final episode for subscribers is scheduled for February 25. Non-subscribers will begin with two episodes on February 6, followed by daily episode releases within a limited viewing window, with the finale expected on March 11.
