OMEGA X member Hwichan has been officially cleared of allegations that he indecently assaulted the CEO of his former agency.

On December 17, Hwichan’s current agency IPQ released a statement announcing that prosecutors had issued a non-indictment ruling in the criminal case. According to the decision, the allegations could not be substantiated due to insufficient evidence, and Hwichan was therefore found not guilty.
The case dates back to March of last year, when OMEGA X’s former agency SPIRE Entertainment held a press conference and filed a criminal complaint against Hwichan, claiming that CCTV footage supported allegations of indecent assault. In response, IPQ and Hwichan repeatedly requested, through investigative authorities, access to the complete and original CCTV footage for verification. However, reports indicate that the requested footage was never provided.
With the prosecution’s decision, the case has now been concluded at the criminal level. IPQ stated that the ruling confirms Hwichan’s innocence and expressed hope that the public will view the matter based on the outcome of the legal process rather than speculation.
