Ahead of its premiere, Undercover Miss Hong has released new stills that offer a closer look at its story and characters. Set in the late 1990s, the series is a workplace comedy starring Park Shin Hye as Hong Geum Bo, an elite financial supervisory officer in her thirties who goes undercover as a 20-year-old entry-level employee at a securities firm under investigation for suspicious financial activities.

The first episode will reveal how Hong Geum Bo, once a formidable figure in the Financial Supervisory Service’s Capital Market Investigation Bureau, ends up returning to the corporate world as a low-ranking employee. To uncover a hidden slush fund ledger and track down an anonymous whistleblower known as “Yepi,” she assumes the identity of her younger sister and disguises herself as someone 15 years younger than her actual age.
Complications soon arise as her mission intersects with unexpected figures. Ko Kyung Pyo plays Shin Jung Woo, whose involvement immediately disrupts her plans, while Cho Han Gyul portrays Albert Oh, a man with whom she previously shared an awkward encounter. Now reunited as superior and subordinate, their dynamic adds further tension to her already risky assignment.

Beyond the workplace, the drama also explores life at a government-run dormitory for unmarried female employees. Although Hong Geum Bo is actually the oldest resident of Room 301, she must convincingly play the youngest, navigating suspicion from her roommates. A subtle psychological rivalry develops between her and Go Bok Hee, played by Ha Yun Kyung, the senior member of both the dorm and the office. The group is rounded out by Kang Nora, a mysterious heiress hiding her true background, and Kim Mi Sook, known for her warm and approachable personality, setting the stage for evolving friendships built on shared secrets.

Undercover Miss Hong will premiere on January 17 at 9:10 p.m. KST, presenting a lighthearted yet layered narrative centered on disguise, workplace intrigue, and the bonds formed along the way.
