BLACKPINK has achieved another major milestone with the release of their latest mini album, DEADLINE, setting a new record for first-week sales among female artists on the Hanteo Chart.
The globally popular group BLACKPINK made their long-awaited comeback on February 27 with the mini album DEADLINE. The release immediately drew strong attention from fans worldwide, quickly translating into impressive sales figures.

On the first day alone, DEADLINE sold more than 1.46 million copies. This achievement allowed BLACKPINK to set a new record for the highest first-day album sales by any female artist in Hanteo Chart history.
The momentum continued throughout the week. According to data from Hanteo Chart, DEADLINE recorded a total of 1,774,577 copies sold during its first week of release, covering the period from February 27 to March 5.
With this figure, BLACKPINK has officially broken the previous record for the highest first-week sales by a female artist. The earlier milestone was held by aespa, whose 2023 mini album MY WORLD recorded first-week sales of 1,698,784 copies.
By surpassing that record, BLACKPINK has once again demonstrated their powerful global fanbase and strong commercial influence. The group’s new mini album DEADLINE not only marks their return to the music scene but also highlights their continued ability to set new industry benchmarks.
