Netflix’s upcoming drama “The Art of Sarah” has unveiled new posters and a teaser, drawing attention to a story centered on a woman with an elusive identity and a man determined to uncover the truth behind her. The series follows Sarah Kim (Shin Hae Sun), who is willing to fabricate her life in order to become a luxury icon, and Mu Gyeong (Lee Jun Hyuk), who relentlessly pursues her in an effort to expose her ambitions and her real self.

The poster for Sarah Kim is composed of layered objects that hint at how difficult it is to define who she really is. Items such as an ID card with obscured personal information, a bag, and business cards are arranged in a way that raises questions about her true identity. In another image, her mouth is covered, accompanied by the line, “When it seems real, is it still a lie?” This visual and textual combination reinforces the idea of a life balanced precariously between truth and deception.

In contrast, Mu Gyeong’s character poster emphasizes his intense and almost obsessive focus. With a chalkboard bearing traces of interrogation and a pair of handcuffs in the frame, the image suggests a man who will not stop until he reaches the end of his pursuit. The line, “Who stands before me?” points to the growing confusion he experiences as he gets closer to what he believes is the truth, only to find even more uncertainty.

The main teaser opens with Sarah Kim’s ominous narration, in which she compares falsehood to a beautiful sunset that makes everything look better, at least until it is exposed. This is followed by a scene of her falling into a pile of trash and breaking down in tears. Although she introduces herself as Sarah Kim, the accounts given by those who have met her fail to form a coherent picture of who she actually is. At the same time, Mu Gyeong, who is tracking her, begins to suspect that Sarah Kim may not even exist, deepening the mystery surrounding her identity.

“The Art of Sarah” is scheduled to premiere on February 13.
