The action comedy film “Okay! Madam 2” has officially completed filming and revealed its first stills. As a sequel to the 2020 hit “Okay! Madam,” the new installment continues the story of the same family who once stopped a hijacking on an airplane. This time, they are invited aboard a luxury cruise ship, only to find themselves caught in another unexpected incident.

Filming began in October 2025 and concluded in late December after roughly two months of production. Uhm Jung Hwa, Park Sung Woong, Lee Sang Yoon, and Bae Jung Nam return to reprise their roles from the previous film, while Ryeoun, Park Jin Joo, and Girls’ Generation’s Sooyoung join the cast, bringing fresh energy to the sequel.

Uhm Jung Hwa once again stands at the center of the story. Reflecting on the shoot, she said that the production was physically demanding, but thanks to the high level of professionalism from the staff, many satisfying scenes were captured. She also expressed her excitement about the final result, hoping that audiences will be able to relax, laugh, and truly enjoy the film in theaters.

Director Lee Cheol Ha also shared his thoughts, saying that continuing the “Okay! Madam” series was a meaningful experience. He noted that every actor contributed strong ideas and energy, and that he will continue to do his best until the very end to deliver an entertaining and enjoyable movie.

The two newly released stills show Uhm Jung Hwa returning as Lee Mi Young, transforming from an ordinary housewife about to set off on a cruise into a charismatic action heroine, once again highlighting the contrast that made the character so memorable in the first film.

“Okay! Madam 2” is currently in post-production and is scheduled to be released in the summer of 2026.
