SBS’s fantasy romance drama “No Tail to Tell” has released new stills from its upcoming episode, heightening anticipation for the next development in the story. The series stars Kim Hye Yoon as Eun Ho, a Gen Z gumiho determined not to become human, and Lomon as Kang Si Yeol, an overly confident world-class soccer player. The drama follows their chaotic journey as they attempt to save one another.

In previous episodes, Eun Ho saved Kang Si Yeol’s life but was forced to become human as a result. The pair later learned of the possible existence of another gumiho and traveled to Seoraksan, the mountain said to be her home. The episode ended on a tense note when Eun Ho, while asleep, recalled a disturbing memory of Kang Si Yeol stabbing her in the chest, signaling an unexpected twist ahead.

The newly released stills show Eun Ho and Kang Si Yeol returning home after their search, only to realize that they are not alone. One image captures the pair looking visibly shocked upon spotting someone waiting in the alley outside Si Yeol’s house. Another reveals that the mysterious woman they encountered at Seoraksan—who closely resembles Geum Ho, the gumiho Eun Ho believed had died centuries ago—has followed them back.

According to the production team, Episode 5 will see Eun Ho grappling with a complex mix of emotions after meeting the woman who resembles Geum Ho, including longing and resentment toward the gods. The team also confirmed that the true identity of the enigmatic woman will finally be revealed, marking a significant turning point in the narrative.

Episode 5 of “No Tail to Tell” will air on January 30 at 9:50 p.m. KST.
