Katy Yeung Wing Tung, a former contestant of the 2019 Miss Hong Kong pageant, has announced her marriage after sharing a series of wedding photos taken in Bali on social media. The announcement quickly drew public attention, with many focusing on her striking height and the scenic wedding setting.

Although the wedding was held overseas, Katy Yeung and her husband adhered closely to traditional customs by carrying out a full Chinese wedding ceremony. According to the photos, all customary rituals were observed, including the hair-combing ceremony, bride’s departure, the matchmaker holding an umbrella, and tea-serving to elders. The ceremony was presented in a warm and celebratory atmosphere.
Following the traditional rites, Katy Yeung changed into a white low-cut wedding gown for a Western-style ceremony held at an outdoor seaside venue in Bali. Surrounded by clear skies, blue waters, and family and friends, the couple exchanged vows in a romantic setting. Her 178-centimeter height and model-like proportions stood out in the wedding visuals, while her tall husband complemented her appearance.

At 28 years old, Katy Yeung is a graduate of the Department of Criminology at City University of Hong Kong. Prior to entering the entertainment industry, she worked part-time as a model. She participated in the 2019 Miss Hong Kong pageant alongside contestants such as Carmaney Wong, Lisa Chai, Liang Man Qiao, and Kelly Cheung. During the competition, she gained attention for her height and appearance and was regarded as a strong contender, but ultimately did not advance beyond the top ten. After the pageant, her career development remained relatively low-profile with limited public exposure.
