tvN has confirmed the premiere date of its upcoming office romantic comedy “Filing for Love,” while unveiling the first look at Shin Hae Sun and Gong Myoung in character. The drama is scheduled to debut on April 25 at 9:10 p.m. KST, raising anticipation for a fresh workplace romance set against the backdrop of corporate audits and internal investigations.
“Filing for Love” tells the story of Noh Ki Joon, played by Gong Myoung, once the star member of a major corporation’s elite Audit Team 1. After an unexpected demotion, he is reassigned to handle internal misconduct cases. Opposite him is Joo In Ah, portrayed by Shin Hae Sun, a tough and unconventional audit team leader who hides a secret of her own. As the two meticulously carry out investigations with precision and discipline, they gradually find themselves drawn into an unexpected romance.

The drama will be directed by Lee Soo Hyun, known for “My Dearest Nemesis,” and penned by writer Yeo Eun Ho of “Crash Course in Romance,” with Yang Hee Sung joining as creator. With a creative team experienced in blending sharp wit and heartfelt storytelling, expectations are high for a nuanced yet entertaining portrayal of office life.
Newly released stills highlight the contrasting personalities of the two leads. Joo In Ah exudes commanding charisma, her piercing gaze reinforcing her reputation as a strict disciplinarian. Known within the company by intimidating nicknames, she is depicted as someone who shows no tolerance for mistakes and ensures that once she sets her sights on a target, there is no room for defiance. Her status as the company’s “youngest female executive” underscores her authority and competence.
In contrast, Noh Ki Joon appears confident and composed, even holding up his employee ID badge in one image, embodying the presence of a long-standing audit ace. With his sharp intellect, striking looks, and seemingly flawless career trajectory, his life takes a dramatic turn following Joo In Ah’s arrival. After she personally appoints him to oversee internal misconduct investigations, he is abruptly transferred from the prestigious Audit Team 1 to the notoriously troublesome Audit Team 3, thrusting him into a chaotic new reality.

As “Filing for Love” explores the internal struggles of Audit Office Team 3, it promises to present a humorous yet bittersweet look at workplace scandals—ranging from trivial incidents to more serious misconduct cases. According to the production team, the series will subvert common office stereotypes while delivering a compelling narrative about the people behind widely discussed corporate controversies.
With the central romance between Joo In Ah and Noh Ki Joon at its core, “Filing for Love” aims to showcase the dynamic chemistry between Shin Hae Sun and Gong Myoung as two strong-willed individuals who clash professionally yet become emotionally intertwined. The drama’s April 25 premiere is set to bring a new blend of comedy, tension, and heartfelt connection to the small screen.
