tvN’s newest romantic comedy Filing for Love is officially set to premiere tonight, and its leading cast is already giving viewers plenty of reasons to tune in.
Starring Shin Hae Sun, Gong Myoung, Kim Jae Wook, and Hong Hwa Yeon, the drama centers on an unusual workplace setting that blends romance, corporate chaos, and internal investigations.
Filing for Love follows Noh Ki Jun, played by Gong Myoung, a top-performing employee in a major corporation’s audit department whose seemingly perfect career takes an unexpected turn when he is suddenly demoted to a team responsible for handling internal misconduct cases.

That abrupt fall places him directly in the orbit of Joo In Ah, portrayed by Shin Hae Sun, an eccentric and sharp-witted team leader who is hiding secrets of her own.
Ahead of the drama’s first broadcast, the cast opened up about what viewers should anticipate from the series.
Shin Hae Sun emphasized the uniqueness of the drama’s workplace premise, noting that internal misconduct audits may initially feel unfamiliar to viewers, but she believes that very concept makes the story stand out.
She explained that audiences can expect a fresh type of entertainment through the show’s office setting, particularly during the first two episodes.
According to Shin Hae Sun, viewers should pay close attention to how the unusual workplace premise unfolds and how characters with completely different motivations begin clashing inside the audit department.
She also added a warm message for viewers, saying she hopes Filing for Love can become “a small joy” during their daily lives.
Meanwhile, Gong Myoung confidently pointed to one of the drama’s biggest strengths—his chemistry with Shin Hae Sun.
The actor shared that audiences will quickly notice the dynamic between Noh Ki Jun and Joo In Ah from the very first episode.
To fully embody his character, Gong Myoung revealed that he carefully focused on everything from Noh Ki Jun’s wardrobe choices to his speech patterns and facial expressions.
He added that viewers may enjoy the drama even more by paying attention to Noh Ki Jun’s expressive reactions throughout the story.
Adding another layer of intrigue is Kim Jae Wook, who stars as Jeon Jae Yeol, the vice chairman of Haemu Group and a wealthy heir navigating corporate power.
The actor highlighted the drama’s realistic storytelling as one of its biggest strengths.
He explained that every episode features a variety of incidents that feel believable and relatable, making it easier for viewers to immerse themselves in the story.
Kim Jae Wook also pointed to the growing relationship between the two leads as one of the drama’s most charming aspects.
He described Filing for Love as a trendy and fast-paced series where viewers can enjoy watching Audit Team 3 tackle various workplace issues while chaos unfolds around them.
Meanwhile, Hong Hwa Yeon, who plays Jeon Jae Yeol’s secretary Park Ah Jeong, also teased her role in the drama.
She described Joo In Ah as having a “cat-like charm” while comparing Noh Ki Jun to an energetic puppy, encouraging viewers to think about what kind of personalities her own character and Jeon Jae Yeol bring to the story.
The actress also revealed that she spent significant time thinking about how to portray Park Ah Jeong’s layered personality.
Although the character can appear distant, she also has an unexpectedly lovable side.
Because Park Ah Jeong carries a glamorous image, Hong Hwa Yeon said she paid close attention to styling and visual references while preparing for the role.
With its unusual corporate setting, fast-moving storyline, and promising lead chemistry between Shin Hae Sun and Gong Myoung, Filing for Love is shaping up to be one of tvN’s more intriguing romantic comedies this season.
The drama premieres on April 25 at 9:10 p.m. KST.
