Yoo Seung Ho is officially returning to television through SBS’s upcoming Flex X Cop Season 2, marking his first small-screen role in three years.
On April 24, the production team confirmed that Yoo Seung Ho will make a special appearance in the new season.
Although his role is not a full-time lead position, the announcement has already generated significant buzz due to his long television hiatus.

A New Chaebol Character
Yoo Seung Ho will portray Yoo Seung Won, a sculptor who comes from a powerful media conglomerate family.
The character is described as the youngest son of a wealthy chaebol household.
After meeting Ahn Bo Hyun’s character Jin Yi Soo through a gathering of third-generation chaebol heirs, the two develop a close friendship that resembles a brotherly bond.
That dynamic is expected to add a fresh layer to the drama’s second season.
Returning and New Cast Members
Ahn Bo Hyun was previously confirmed to return as Jin Yi Soo, the immature third-generation chaebol heir who unexpectedly becomes a detective.
Meanwhile, Jung Eun Chae will join Season 2 as the new female lead, playing Jin Yi Soo’s latest investigative partner, Joo Hye Ra.
Reunion With Familiar Director
Reports state that Yoo Seung Ho’s special appearance happened partly because of his connection with director Kim Jae Hong.
The two previously worked together on the drama My Strange Hero.
That reunion appears to have helped bring Yoo Seung Ho back to television after several years away.
With Season 2 expanding its cast and storyline, anticipation for Flex X Cop continues to build.
