Nearly a decade after becoming one of Korea’s most iconic dramas, Guardian: The Lonely and Great God is officially bringing its core cast back together for a special reunion project.
tvN confirmed that Gong Yoo, Kim Go Eun, Lee Dong Wook, and Yoo In Na recently filmed a travel variety special in Gangneung, Gangwon Province. According to the network, the four actors spent one night and two days filming from April 24 to April 25, marking their first major reunion centered around the drama’s 10th anniversary.
The original series, which premiered in 2016, became a major cultural phenomenon across Asia and international markets. Its combination of fantasy romance, emotionally driven storytelling, and memorable performances helped establish it as one of the most influential Korean dramas of its era.
